Protests continue for the freedom of President Gonzalo, the leader of the Peruvian Communist Party, who has been held incommunicado for 29 years despite his seri-ous illness. In Strasbourg, a rally was held for this purpose in front of the Peruvian consulate.
A speech was read out in Turkish and French emphasizing the exemplary role of Chairman Gonzalo for the worldproletariat.
Besides the flags of Partizan, PGİ/MLM and AGEB, banners prepared for Gonzalo we-re also carried.
Again, a meeting was held with the consular-officer and the file prepared for the con-sulate was handed over.
The action ended with the slogan “We will continue to defend the life of President Gonzalo and spread his struggle everywhere”.
